Grammar explanations
The grammar explanations are adapted from Iso suomen kielioppi, online edition (VISK), by Auli Hakulinen, Maria Vilkuna, Riitta Korhonen, Vesa Koivisto, Tarja Riitta Heinonen and Irja Alho, published by the Institute for the Languages of Finland (Kotus), kaino.kotus.fi/visk, licensed under CC BY 4.0. SimuCoach has summarised, simplified and translated the material and added its own examples. Kotus does not endorse SimuCoach.
Word forms
Some inflected word forms come from Wiktionary, by Wiktionary contributors, via the Wiktextract data at kaikki.org, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Open-source software
SimuCoach is built with open-source software, including React, React Router, TanStack Query, i18next, Tailwind CSS and Vite (MIT License), and FastAPI, Pydantic and SQLAlchemy (MIT License) on the server. Each library keeps its own copyright and licence; the full list is available on request at [email protected].
Trademarks
Names of authorities and services mentioned in exercises, such as Kela, Migri, HSL, Wilma, OmaKanta and Suomi.fi, belong to their owners and are used only to describe real situations. YKI is a test organised by the Finnish National Agency for Education and the University of Jyväskylä. Google and the Google logo are trademarks of Google LLC. SimuCoach is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
